Rabanastran (boy squatting down and hugging his knees by the wall): There were too many guards at the parade… All those fat purses, and no chance to swipe ‘em! I feel like I was the one who was robbed!
Imperial: There were rumors about a group of insurgents plottin’ an attack, but we kept the peace good ‘n’ proper. The city gates, the stairs to Lowtown – you can come ‘n’ go as you like now.
Rabanastran (man in brown shorts with his son at north side of fountain): My boy and I just watched the parade… it’s all he’ll talk about now. We saw the wedding parade two years ago, but he was too young to remember.
Rabanastran (boy in blue with his father): That parade was the best thing I ever saw! I wanna be in a parade, too!
Lovestruck Man: I can’t believe the Consul is the Emperor’s son! Imagine, someone like that in Rabanastre… I hope he’s the right man to help the city move forward.
Cartographer’s Guild: Would you like to buy a map, kupo?
[Giza Plains - 30 gil
Dalmasca Estersand - 50 gil
Dalmasca Westersand - 550 gil
Cancel]
So long, kupo!
Rabanastran (black bangaa in red vest and pants): They’ve got the aerodrome at Westgate closed special for all the Imperials returnin’ to Archadia.
Rabanastran/Cotze: What are they doin’ holdin’ a parade? Nothing these Imperials do makes any sense to me…
Rabanastran (kid in blue on south side of fountain): That Vayne sure must be rich to throw a parade like that. I hope I, uh, “bump” into him on the street one of these days. Heh, heh.
Bright-eyed Boy: Chocobos are my favorite animal. Big, yellow… what’s not to like? I sure hope I get to ride one someday!
Rabanastran (man in brown shorts near eastgate): He was orphaned during the war, so I took him in. At first, he wouldn’t say a word. He’d just cry, and cry. But I think that’s finally behind him now. The orphans in this town are many. I only pray we never face such a war again.
Rabanastran (man in brown shorts near southgate): I’m glad that parade is over. We can finally come and go as we please again.
Rabanastran (boy in blue near southgate): You ever been to the village out on Giza Plains? It’s just a ways off to the south of here. They raise some kind of big ol’ roly-poly birds down there.
Rabanastran (boy in blue by westgate): Hey, Vaan, how’s it goin’? Not so good for me… It’s hard to “work” with all these guards around. Maybe we can make up for it at the fete tonight!
Rabanastran (man in brown shorts near westgate): If you’re headed out west, take care. The Westersand is not so forgiving as the Estersand. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the creatures lurking out there show up as marks. Keep your guard up, even near the city.
