Hall of the Destroyer & Hall of the Sentinel

Hall of the Destroyer

Vaan: What was that thing?
Balthier: A contraption you’d find in all but the most rudimentary ancient ruin. One touch, and off you’re whisked to you know not where. The finer points of their operation elude me, but they’re handy all the same. What more need a sky pirate know?
Way Stone: The device bears a timeworn inscription.
>Read the inscription.
These words have been left by the tomb-watchers: “With godscraft armed, guard we His tomb. Diad stirred, come they, one unto the other.”
>Touch the device.
Nothing happens. There must be a corresponding device elsewhere.
>Do nothing.
[As the party descends to the corridor, the wall behind them comes alive with claws and starts crawling toward them.]
Balthier: Fight or run, we better decide fast!

Hall of the Sentinel
[In this room, the wall far, for to the front of them, at the head of the corridor, comes alive as well.]
Fran: The wall comes. We must be quick! Together we can bring it down.
Altar of Contemplation: The brazier bears a timeworn inscription.
>Read the inscription.
These words have been left by the tomb-watchers: “Wakes it with the flames. Follow it their shadow. Ne’er straying.”
>Touch the brazier.
[if first brazier in set of two] The Demon Wall halts its advance.
[if second brazier in set of two] The Demon Wall hastens its advance…
>Do nothing.
