Way Stone: The way stone bears a timeworn inscription.

>Touch the way stone.

>Do nothing.

[Vossler appears troubled. Basch takes notice.]

Basch: What’s wrong?

Vossler: [ignoring Basch] Your Majesty, we must go.

[Ashe nods and approaches the pedestal slowly.]

Ashe: What?

[Standing before Ashe is an apparition.]

Ashe: Rasler…

[It seems that Ashe and Vaan are the only two people out of the party who can see the apparition of Rasler. Rasler starts forward and descends the steps. As he passes, Ashe reflexively reaches out for his arm, and her hands pass through him. She watches him go with a pained expression.]

Ashe: You will be avenged.

[Rasler walks by the still ignorant party, save for Vaan, who looks up at Ashe after Rasler fades away.]

[You obtain the Dawn Shard!]

Valley of the Dead

[In another wordless cinematic, Vaan and co. are exiting the tomb and running out onto the sands of the Valley of the Dead, when they hear the sound. They look up to see the 8th Fleet of the Archadian army looming overhead, the Leviathan at the fore. Smaller ships are deployed and land in a formation surrounding the party.]
