Central Brig Access & Sub-control Room/Large Freight Stores

Central Brig Access
[The alarm suddenly sounds.]
Basch: Majesty. We will cut you a path.
Ashe: I will not place my trust in the sword of a traitor!
Vossler: Yet trust his sword we must, traitor or no. I see no other way. We track back, commandeer a ship, and make our escape.
[Ashe says nothing, and starts running.]
Basch: Her Majesty cannot abide weakness, least of all in herself.
Vossler: We must make her confront the reality of our plight.

[Ashe, sitting alone in the cell, looks up as the others enter, and stands to greet them.]
Vossler: You are unharmed.
Ashe: Vossler! I –
[Ashe stumbles. Vossler goes to catch her.]
Vossler: Majesty!
Ashe: It’s nothing. I’ll be fine. [turning to Basch] You.
Vaan: Come on, come on! Let’s go! What are you waiting for? Penelo’s still out there!
Balthier: We should hurry. They won’t be long.
Vossler: We will talk later.
[Ashe joins the party!]
[In cell number C-203…]
Lulucce: Kupo! Not a word from you, kupo. I know why you’ve come! Oh, and thank you for opening the cell door, by the way. Most gracious of you! After this treatment, I think it’s safe to say we won’t be visiting any more Imperial warships in the near future. The road calls, kupo!
Tetran: Kupo? You don’t look like any Imperial I’ve ever seen, kupo. Me, kupo? I am but a humble traveling merchant. As luck would have it, I happen to be traveling here. Would you like to see my wares? I’ll warn you, though. I only sell to one kind of customer: the paying kind, kupo! [shop menu] Any merchant worth his salt needs but one thing to do business: a customer, kupo!
Tetran (x2): Interested in making a purchase? Don’t worry, I don’t even know the meaning of the word extortion, kupo! [shop menu] Any merchant worth his salt needs but one thing to do business: a customer, kupo!

[Cell number C-204 is empty.]
